10 Hours per Week

We are currently seeking an individual to join the Road Safety team as a School Crossing Patrol, covering Gnoll Primary in Neath. The post is for two hours per day, term time only (1 hour in the morning, 1 hour in the afternoon). The post requires the gathering and safe road crossing of pedestrians whilst crossing the road at or near the school.

The main duties of the post:

- The gathering of school pedestrians in preparation for road crossing.

- The control and direction of the pedestrians when gathered.

- The stopping of traffic when necessary

- Supervision of the pedestrians when crossing

- The reporting of matters connected with their duties.
