Summary

Part time 30 hours per week. Permanent post.

We are looking for a highly organised medical secretary with experience in a similar setting to undertake this challenging role within the Orthopaedic interface service at Bolton One Health Centre .

The post holder will provide a comprehensive and efficient medical secretarial service to Consultants, providing cross cover for fellow secretaries when required. The post holder will also provide an efficient channel of communication between the medical staff, general practitioner colleagues, and patients, members of the public, the Community Services Division and disciplines within the service. The post holder will also be responsible for office function and provide leadership, supporting the development needs of the secretarial team to meet current & future needs of the service.

Provision of medical secretarial duties and administrative support to the consultants and clinical team , Support the medical secretariat team and ensure smooth efficient running of the office and meet appropriate targets.

The post holder will require a high degree of organisational skills and excellent working knowledge of administrative systems, with the ability to communicate to staff and patients at all levels.
