Job Role: Catering Assistant
Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00am - 3:00pm (20 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary assignment until at least December
Location: Wrexham (LL13)
We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant on behalf of our client to join their team on a temporary basis until at least December. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy, customer-focused environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of food presentation and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing sandwiches and light food items
- Replenishing fruit stations and salad bars throughout the day
- Serving customers and processing purchases through the till
- Monitoring food temperatures and completing food safety records
- Ensuring food display areas remain clean, stocked and presentable
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times
- Assisting with general catering duties as required
Requirements:
- A valid Food Hygiene Certificate is essential
- Previous experience within a catering, hospitality or food service environment is desirable
- Good attention to detail, particularly when completing food safety paperwork
- Friendly and professional customer service skills
- Reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
