Summary

Role overview

The Warehouse is a rehearsal venue located in Waterloo, London. The venue has been operating for 20+ years and is a well known and loved rehearsal venue for many orchestras (and ensembles as well as providing theatre rehearsal possibilities for many London producing theatres.

Key responsibilities

To liaise with the Venue Manager to ensure that studios and auxiliary spaces are accessible and that all spaces are tidy and welcoming.

To open up in the morning if necessary and to lock up out of hours and at weekends as required by the weekly schedule provided.

To be named on the emergency call-out list and act as keyholder responsible for attending callouts to building related emergencies.

To follow lone worker policy when operating in an unstaffed building, taking care of your own safety and security at all times.

To liaise with third party security providers for callouts to building related emergencies.

To be familiar with the buildings’ fire and intruder alarm systems and carry out regular tests where required, reporting issues/faults to the Venue Manager.

To be a trained First Aider and fully conversant with the company’s Health and Safety policy (we will provide this training as required).

To act as a trained Fire Marshall as per the organisations Fire Evacuation Policies (we will provide this training as required).
