Summary

Cura Staffing is recruiting reliable, experienced chefs to join our agency team, working across different care homes.

You will prepare nutritious, appetising meals that meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences, including allergies and texture requirements. Duties include preparing and cooking meals, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, following food safety procedures and working alongside care home teams to deliver meals on time.

This role suits someone who can adapt confidently to different kitchens, menus and teams.

Essential requirements

• Valid DBS certificate. • In-date Food Hygiene certificate. • Previous professional cooking experience, ideally in a care home or similar setting. • Understanding of allergens, special diets and texture-modified meals. • High standards of food hygiene and safe food storage. • Ability to work independently and adapt to different kitchens. • Reliable, professional approach and willingness to work across different care homes.
