Summary

Ogden Court aims to deliver high quality, safe and person centred care. We strive to uphold our strategic objectives which are: Improving our quality, enabling our people and securing the future. Our 21 bedded unit provides rehabilitation to a wide group of patients with varying complexities of needs. Our patients come to us following medical or surgical treatment or if appropriate, directly from their own homes. We also provide palliative and end of life care. Main Responsibilities Be responsible for the delivery and co-ordination of care to a named group of patients Work effectively as a member of the multi-disciplinary team. Work proactively within the team to achieve unit and trust goals and objectives. Work with and promote recognised policies, protocols and guidelines Flexible working and working hours The working day is split in to two 11.5 hour shifts, a night from 19:00 to 07:30 and a day from 07:00 to 19:30. The shifts are rostered on a rotational basis across seven days including bank holidays. We offer the right to request flexible working from your first day of employment including fixed shift patterns and will endeavour to honour any flexible working agreements made with your current employer. Training opportunities We welcome staff who are open to learning new skills such as venepuncture, male and female catheterisation, PEG feeding and ECG recording. To assist you in doing this you will receive support and development through in service training, annual appraisals, a personal development plan and regular clinical supervision.
