Summary

For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Descriptionand Person Specification: Work collaboratively, within the multidisciplinary team, to create a safe patient environment inwhich the complex needs of patients with cancer receiving SACT are met. Promote, and facilitate, the education of patients on SACT, including its side effects, toempower patients to escalate side effects timely and safely. Practice within Trust protocols, including those for clinical trials, and support juniorcolleagues to also practice within such guidelines. Lead the recognition of signs of a deteriorating patient and assist junior colleagues torespond promptly to signs. Utilise advanced time-management and prioritisation skills to manage the demands of a busyenvironment with a high caseload and support junior colleagues in also meeting demands. Engage in educational programmes and facilitate ward-based projects to advance personaland team professional development.
