Duties as Reception Year Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS Framework
Create a stimulating and nurturing classroom environment
Support children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development
Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress
Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Promote independence, curiosity, and a love of learning
Maintain high expectations for behaviour, wellbeing, and achievement

Ideal Reception Year Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within EYFS or Reception
Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework
Excellent knowledge of child development and early learning
Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning opportunities
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
