Summary

Finance Officer (Part-Time)

Contract: Fixed-term for 12 months

Hours: 22.5 hours per week, worked over three days (including Mondays, with the remaining days to be agreed). However, we are happy to consider flexible working arrangements, with a minimum of 15 hours per week for the right candidate.

Location: On-site, St. Columban’s, Widney Manor Road, Solihull, B93 9AB

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

The Missionary Society of Saint Columban is seeking an organised and motivated Finance Officer to join its team in Solihull.

Working closely with the Regional Bursar, you will support the day-to-day financial operations of the Charity, ensuring accurate financial records and the responsible management of its resources.

Key responsibilities include processing invoices, payments and other financial transactions; reconciling bank accounts, credit cards and petty cash; and maintaining records using Sage 50, Excel and the Donorflex CRM database. You will also support budgeting, month-end reporting, audits and financial compliance, while liaising with suppliers and responding to finance queries.
