PPM Operative

The Role

You'll be responsible for carrying out bathroom adaptations, wet room installations and a variety of property maintenance works within domestic properties across West Cumbria.

The role involves working closely with tenants, residents and clients, delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining excellent customer service throughout each project.

Your responsibilities will include:

Installing wet rooms and level access shower facilities.

Completing bathroom adaptations and refurbishment works.

Carrying out general plumbing works, including pipework, fittings and sanitary ware installation.

Wall and floor tiling to a high standard.

Decorating and finishing works.

Installing safety features and accessibility adaptations.

Carrying out responsive and planned maintenance repairs.

Working respectfully and professionally within occupied homes.

Maintaining accurate records and completing relevant documentation.

Participating in an on-call rota to attend emergency repairs when required.

What We're Looking For

Essential

Proven experience installing wet rooms and bathroom adaptations.

Strong plumbing and tiling skills.

Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.

Good communication and customer service skills.

A professional and respectful approach when working in customers' homes.

Full UK Manual Driving Licence.

Desirable

Decorating experience.

Experience within social housing or occupied residential properties.

Additional multi-trade skills.

The Ideal Candidate

You'll take pride in delivering quality workmanship and providing an excellent customer experience.

You may already be working as a Wet Room Installer, Bathroom Fitter, Multi-Trade Operative or Property Maintenance Operative. Most importantly, you'll be reliable, self-motivated and committed to maintaining high standards while working safely and professionally.
