Commercial Gas Engineer - Glasgow - Salary up to £47,000 DOE

We’re looking for a skilled engineer with strong commercial gas experience who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, reliable service and excellent customer care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), installations, gas testing and reactive repairs across a range of commercial gas-fired appliances and heating systems, including boilers, burners and hot water systems.

- Diagnose faults, identify failures and complete repairs, including sourcing and fitting replacement parts.

- Provide responsive maintenance support across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties.

- Self-deliver smaller installation projects where required.

- Build positive relationships with clients through professional communication and excellent customer service.

- Ensure all work meets relevant health and safety requirements and industry standards.

Person Specification:

- Valid ACS Commercial Gas qualifications, including COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, ICPN1 and TPCP1A.

- Proven experience in commercial gas servicing, maintenance and fault-finding.

- Strong technical knowledge and practical problem-solving skills.

- A customer-focused approach with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- A full UK driving licence.

- Willingness to undergo the required disclosure.

Salary & Benefits

- Salary up to £47,000, depending on experience.

- 30 days’ annual holiday, including public holidays.

- 39-hour working week, Monday to Friday.

- Working hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.

- Overtime available and paid accordingly.

- A stable role within a facilities management team.
