Summary
Patient Care and Reception Greet patients on arrival in a friendly, professional, and reassuring manner Check patients in for their scheduled appointments Respond to patient queries received via the email inbox Answer incoming telephone calls and handle patient enquiries appropriately, escalating where necessary Clinical and Procedural Duties Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, including CT and MRI, ensuring patients understand what to expect Provide phlebotomy services / undertake training for, taking blood samples as required Perform cannulation for patients where clinically required Assist the radiographer with patient positioning during scanning procedures Monitor patient comfort and wellbeing throughout procedures, Clinic Environment Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy clinical environment at all times Ensure clinical areas and equipment are prepared appropriately between patients Adhere to infection control, health and safety, and clinical governance policies General Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with data protection requirements at all times Work collaboratively as part of the wider clinical and administrative team Participate in mandatory training and continuing professional development Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role as required
