It supports independent retail, foodservice and specialist trade customers, with a focus on product availability, value and service.Key responsibilities• Complete more than 10 deliveries per day across planned local and regional routes• Carry out vehicle safety checks before and after each shift• Load, secure and unload goods safely• Deliver orders accurately and within agreed timescales• Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer confirmations• Represent the company professionally at each delivery point• Report any vehicle, delivery or customer issues promptly• Follow all relevant road safety, transport and workplace proceduresSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence• Relevant driver qualification and current CPC entitlement• Experience in multidrop delivery work, ideally completing more than 10 drops per day• Good knowledge of road safety and vehicle checks• Reliable, punctual and organised• Professional manner and clear communication skills• Physically able to handle delivery-related duties• Good understanding of safe loading and unloading practicesBenefits• £16 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersIf you are an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver seeking a permanent daytime position in Swindon, apply today.
