TeacherActive is working with a lovely nursery in
Hinckley (LE10) that is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic
Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their team on a
full-time, permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to become part of a friendly Early Years team, build meaningful relationships with children and families, and help little learners thrive in a fun and nurturing environment.
What Will You Be Doing?
•
Planning and delivering fun, engaging activities in line with the EYFS
•
Encouraging learning through play, exploration and creativity
•
Supporting children's emotional, social and physical development
•
Creating a safe, stimulating and welcoming learning environment
•
Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
•
Carrying out observations and supporting children's individual learning journeys
•
Supporting daily routines, including mealtimes and personal care
•
Working closely with the nursery team to provide high-quality childcare
What Are We Looking For?
•
Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years or equivalent
•
Previous experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting
•
A good understanding of the EYFS framework
•
Knowledge of safeguarding and child development
•
A caring, patient and nurturing personality
•
Someone creative who loves getting involved in messy play, singing and storytelling!
•
Strong communication and teamwork skills
•
A genuine passion for helping children learn, grow and develop
