TeacherActive is working with a welcoming nursery in the
NG2 / NG3 area of Nottingham, looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable
Nursery Practitioner to join their team on a
full-time, permanent basis with an immediate start!
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who genuinely loves working with children and wants to become a valued member of a nursery team, making a difference to little learners every single day.
What Will Your Day Look Like?
•
Creating fun, exciting and engaging activities that encourage learning through play
•
Supporting children's development in line with the EYFS framework
•
Getting involved in messy play, sensory activities, outdoor adventures and story time
•
Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
•
Supporting children's daily routines, including mealtimes and personal care
•
Helping to create a safe, happy and nurturing environment
•
Observing children's progress and celebrating their little achievements
•
Working closely with the nursery team to ensure every child feels supported and valued
We're Looking for Someone Who:
•
Holds a
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years
•
Has previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
•
Has a good understanding of the EYFS
•
Is warm, caring, patient and enthusiastic
•
Loves getting creative and isn't afraid to get stuck into messy play!
•
Is a fantastic team player with a positive attitude
•
Has strong communication skills
•
Is passionate about giving children the best possible start in life
