This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team, take ownership of the estimating process and play a key role in securing new projects for the business.

Key responsibilities include:

•

Carrying out take-offs and measuring quantities from drawings.

•

Identifying potential commercial risks, opportunities and cost-saving measures.

•

Liaising with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal project teams.

Preparing tender documentation, bills of quantities and pricing schedules.

•

Ensuring estimates are accurate, competitive and submitted within deadlines.

•

Supporting the handover of successful tenders to the delivery and commercial teams.

•

Maintaining up-to-date cost information and supplier databases.

•

Contributing to value engineering and alternative cost proposals where appropriate.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

•

Previous experience working as an Estimator within the construction industry.

•

Experience pricing refurbishment, fit-out or general building projects.

•

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and associated costs.

•

The ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and tender documentation.

•

Experience obtaining subcontractor quotations and negotiating costs.

•

Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills.

•

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.

•

Good communication and organisational skills.

•

Proficiency in relevant estimating software and Microsoft Excel.

•

A construction-related qualification is desirable but not essential.

The Opportunity

You will be joining a forward-thinking construction business delivering a diverse range of projects across commercial, education, hospitality, industrial, public sector and residential environments.
