TeacherActive is working with a lovely
Forest School nursery in Melton Mowbray (LE13) that is looking for a passionate and experienced
Nursery Manager to lead their team.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who believes that children learn best through
exploration, imagination and hands-on experiences. The nursery offers a unique outdoor learning environment where children are encouraged to develop their independence, confidence and curiosity.
With the flexibility of
4 or 5 working days per week, this could be the perfect next step for someone looking to progress their Early Years career!
What will you be doing?
•
Leading, supporting and inspiring a team of Early Years Practitioners
•
Overseeing the day-to-day running of the nursery
•
Promoting outdoor learning and Forest School activities
•
Ensuring the nursery meets EYFS and Ofsted requirements
•
Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety
•
Building positive relationships with children, parents and staff
•
Supporting staff development, training and progression
•
Creating a fun, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive
We're looking for someone who:
•
Holds a
Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (minimum)
•
Has previous nursery management or leadership experience
•
Has a strong understanding of the
EYFS framework
•
Is confident with Ofsted requirements and safeguarding procedures
•
Has a genuine passion for outdoor learning and child development
•
Is organised, approachable and a natural team leader
•
Can bring fresh ideas, positivity and enthusiasm to the nursery
•
Has Forest School experience or training (desirable)
