As a
Cleaning Operativeat
RAF Brize Norton, Carterton,you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality cleaning services thatcontribute to a clean, safe, and healthy environment. This role is integral tothe well-being of everyone on site, and you'll be an essential part of ourteam. You'll have the opportunity to interact with our armed forcespersonnel daily, making a real impact on their quality of life and the overallatmosphere of the location.
What You’ll Do:
- Carry out planned cleaning and housekeeping duties across the site.
- Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ensure services are delivered in line with agreed service standards, KPIs and contractual requirements.
- Support operational excellence within your area of responsibility.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, customers and colleagues.
- Attend team briefings, huddles and meetings as required.
- Follow all company health & safety procedures and maintain safe working practices.
- Use cleaning equipment safely and responsibly, reporting any faults or issues to management.
- Maintain professional standards of conduct and presentation at all times.
- Complete all required training, including mandatory refresher training.
- Take responsibility for your own development and continue to build your skills and knowledge.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by management.
What You Bring:
Essential:
- Previous experience working in a similar cleaning or housekeeping role.
- Good communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
- Ability to carry out manual handling duties associated with cleaning equipment and tasks.
- A reliable, professional and positive approach to work.
- Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
Desirable:
- Previous experience working within a military environment.
- Driving License
