Neath Port Talbot, who are seeking motivated and reliable Cover Supervisors to join their teams.
We have
short-term opportunities available from November, offering the chance to gain experience across a variety of secondary school settings. As a Cover Supervisor, you will take responsibility for supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher, delivering pre-prepared lesson activities and ensuring students remain focused, engaged and on task.
You will play an important role in creating a positive learning environment, promoting good behaviour and maintaining classroom routines. Whether you're an experienced Cover Supervisor, a graduate considering a career in teaching or someone with experience supporting young people, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and make a meaningful impact.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
• Previous experience working with young people in a school, coaching, youth work or similar setting
• Confidence leading and supervising groups of secondary school students
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to build positive relationships and motivate students
• A proactive, adaptable and professional approach
• A genuine enthusiasm for education and supporting young people's development
