TeacherActive is proud to be working with a fantastic private day nursery based in York, YO31, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Nursery Practitioner. The nursery boasts a large Forest School area and incorporates both indoor and outdoor play, providing children with exciting opportunities to explore, develop their independence and learn through hands-on experiences.
The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Practitioner on a full-time, permanent basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children throughout their Early Years development, plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS and help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment that encourages learning through play.
The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:
•
A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years
•
Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
•
A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS framework
•
A passion for outdoor learning, Forest School activities and child-led play
•
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
•
A positive, hardworking and enthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for supporting children's development
