Summary

About the Role:

Are you a proactive and experienced Programme Manager looking to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Special Projects Team and take the lead in managing our Fire Safety Remediation Programme. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director - Major Works, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to become an expert in Cladding Safety Remediation and drive change in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of the Fire Safety Remediation Programme, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and corporate plans.

Oversee all stages of funded capital works schemes, from feasibility to handover and operationalization.

Develop and execute the Fire Safety Remediation Plan, including future years' plans and current year execution.

Establish and maintain robust project governance, including risk management, change control, and compliance with policies and regulations.

Lead procurement strategies and ensure compliance with financial instructions and procurement regulations.

Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure project success and resident satisfaction.

Conduct Post Project Evaluations and apply lessons learned to future schemes.

Develop and submit bids for external funding, maintaining a pipeline of prioritized bids for rapid response to funding opportunities.

Ensure comprehensive commissioning and handover plans for each project, including stakeholder engagement and training.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in managing large-scale capital works and fire safety remediation projects.

Strong knowledge of cladding safety remediation and latent defect management.

Experience in project governance, including risk management, compliance, and change control.

Demonstrated ability to lead procurement strategies and manage budgets effectively.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

Experience in developing and submitting funding bids for capital projects.
