Summary

These posts will involve working with Patients in the Fracture and Orthopaedic Outpatients. You will be working with qualified staff.

Candidates should demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively whilst maintaining a professional and friendly character.

The successful candidates will be allocated to either in Fracture Clinic or Orthopaedic Outpatients and will be expected to complete Band 3 Competencies.

Chaperone Service users and clinicians during consultations

Basic Patient care which may include personal hygiene

Application of Braces, Splints and Slings - Full Training provided

Effective communications with the patients - awareness of verbal and non verbal communication

Documentation - Written and Computer - Applicants must be computer literate.
