Summary

We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work with small groups of children including to provide 1-1 support for a pupil with learning needs. The post will be on a fixed term basis for this academic year and will be reviewed dependent on funding continuing.Hours of work: 2 days per week, 11.50 hours.

This post will involve:- Working with individuals on a one-to-one basis and small groups of pupils.- Planning, teaching and assessing (with teacher support) a small group work.- Supporting the classteacher in creating an effective learning environment for the children.- Working as part of a team.- Implementing school policies eg; behaviour, marking, safeguarding etc.- Having high expectations of yourself, children and their learning.- Building positive relationships with the children and colleagues within the school and community.
