Summary

Complex Care Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Assistant to support a client living with

learning disabilities, epilepsy, and dysphagia within their own home and local community.

The client requires support with all aspects of daily living and enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle. They attend a day centre during the week and enjoy going out into the community at weekends. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who is happy to engage in activities, build a meaningful relationship with the client, and support them to enjoy life to the fullest.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting with all aspects of personal care and daily living

• Providing safe support around epilepsy and dysphagia needs

• Assisting with meal preparation and monitoring nutritional needs

• Supporting access to community activities and social outings

• Accompanying the client to appointments and activities

• Promoting independence, wellbeing, and choice

• Maintaining accurate care records and documentation

• Following individual care plans and risk assessments

Shift Patterns Available

A variety of shifts are available, including:

•

8:00am - 10:00am

•

8:00am - 4:00pm

•

3:00pm - 7:00pm

•

Sleep-in shifts: 7:00pm - 9:00am

Availability across weekdays and weekends is desirable.

Essential Requirements

• Right to work in the UK without employer sponsorship

• Minimum

6 months' paid care experience in the UK

• Full UK driving licence

• Compassionate, reliable, and committed to high-quality care

• Willingness to undertake specialist training
