Hours: Monday to Thursday, 12:00pm - 9:00pm
Contract: Temporary ongoing, view of permanent after 12 weeks based on performance / attendance

Licence: No more than 6 points – no major endorsements accepted
About the role
NW Recruitment Services Ltd are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join their operation based in Blackburn.
The role involves delivering food and related products to hospitality businesses across Lancashire, Greater Manchester and the wider North West.
This is a hands-on driving position, with handballing required as part of the delivery process. The successful driver will need to be comfortable with manual handling and dealing directly with customers at delivery locations.
Key responsibilities:
• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle from the Blackburn depot
• Delivering products to hospitality businesses across the North West
• Completing multiple deliveries throughout the working day
• Loading and unloading goods
• Handballing deliveries at customer sites
• Using the vehicle tail lift safely and correctly
• Completing delivery paperwork and relevant documentation
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
• Complying with all relevant driving, road safety and working time regulations
Working hours:
• Monday to Thursday, 12:00pm - 9:00pm
• 45 minutes allocated breaks, with breaks otherwise taken in accordance with applicable driving and working time rules
