Summary

Research Fellow in Digital Health

We are seeking a Post-doctoral Research Fellow to work with the Digital Intervention Group, based at the University of Southampton, on a fixed-term contract initially until 06/11/2027.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Digital Intervention Group in the School of Psychology (www.dig.soton.ac.uk), which specialises in the planning, development and evaluation of digital intervention tools. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of research projects developing novel digital health interventions and research tools, gaining experience in the use of research methodologies such as the Person-Based Approach (www.personbasedapproach.org) and our cutting edge LifeGuide+ software for intervention development (www.lifeguideonline.org).

Alongside this there will also be opportunities to support educational activities, as well as our growing Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise portfolio.

We are seeking candidates with a PhD or equivalent experience in Psychology, Behavioural Science, Human-Computer Interactions or equivalent. In this role you will work as part of a varied multi-discipline team of computer scientists, psychologists, medical scientists, clinicians and patients, developing digital health interventions and/or conducting digital health research.

The role will provide many opportunities to expand the successful applicant’s network, in academia, policy-making, through project meetings, workshops and conferences, and offers an excellent opportunity for any individuals building a career in digital research.
