Summary

A Vacancy at Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust.

Are you an enthusiastic, organised and motivated administrator looking for an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of high-quality medicines management services? If so, we'd love you to join our Pharmacy & Medicines Management Team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Chief Pharmacist while playing a key role in supporting medicines governance across the organisation.

You will work closely with the Chief Pharmacist, Associate Chief Pharmacists, senior pharmacy leaders and colleagues from across LCHG Group, supporting a wide range of governance, quality improvement and operational activities. You will be responsible for coordinating and administering medicines governance meetings across the Group, ensuring agendas, papers and minutes are produced to a high standard and that actions are monitored and followed through to completion.

At LCHS, we know diversity fosters creativity and innovation. We are committed to equality of opportunity, to being fair and inclusive, and to being a place where all belong. We therefore particularly encourage applications from candidates who are likely to be underrepresented in LCHS’ workforce.

LCHS recognises the increasing demand for more flexibility in working practices in order to accommodate the personal goals and commitments that employees experience at different stages during their working lives.  Flexible working opportunities such as part-time working, compressed hours, job shares, and hybrid working models can help staff to balance their personal and work commitments.  Arrangements can be put in place if it can be shown that the needs of the individual can be balanced with those of the service and the impact on other team members, enabling the Trust to recruit and retain skilled staff, raise staff morale, reduce absenteeism and respond to changing service needs more effectively.

We are an ambassador of a learning culture that will support the right individual to progress in their chosen career through an ‘earn while you learn’ apprenticeship programme.  Visit our Learning and Development page to find out morehttps://www.lincolnshirecommunityhealthservices.nhs.uk/join-us/learning-and-dev

The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail. You will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with clinical and non-clinical colleagues at all levels. You will be comfortable working independently, using your initiative and maintaining confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.

In addition to providing executive support to the Chief Pharmacist, you will contribute to the smooth running of the Pharmacy & Medicines Management Department by supporting service improvement initiatives, maintaining governance documentation, coordinating reports, and assisting with audits, projects and regulatory requirements where appropriate.

You will be an integral member of the Pharmacy & Medicines Management Team, helping to ensure effective governance arrangements are in place to support the safe and effective use of medicines across the organisation. Your work will directly contribute to improving patient safety, supporting high-quality care and enabling the department to achieve its strategic objectives.

If you are an organised, adaptable and motivated individual with excellent administrative skills and a passion for supporting high-quality healthcare services, we would welcome your application.
