About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Psychologist to join the 16–17 Integrated Talking Therapies service at Greenwich Time To Talk. You'll help us deliver accessible, evidence-based psychological care to young people in the community during an important stage of their lives.

Working under the supervision of qualified psychologists, you'll take an active part in clinical work. This includes carrying out psychological assessments, helping to deliver low-intensity treatment, and facilitating groups. You'll work closely with young people, their families (when required) as well as the wider team.

The role also offers real variety beyond direct clinical work. You'll contribute to service development projects, audit and research, literature searches, and data analysis. You'll also help create engaging, user-friendly resources for the young people we support, and you'll be encouraged to share your learning with colleagues in the team.

What we offer

• Regular clinical supervision in line with professional guidelines

• Strong support for your ongoing CPD, both in-house and externally (where this is relevant to your role).

• A collaborative team where your ideas help shape how the service develops

• An excellent foundation for anyone working towards doctoral training in clinical or counselling psychology.

About you

You'll bring a genuine interest in young people's mental health and a commitment to high professional standards, including careful record keeping and safeguarding practises. You'll also be organised and adaptable, and you'll be keen to learn and grow within a supportive environment.
