Summary

The role is varied and covers all aspect of practice nursing including: Chronic Disease Management: Monitor and manage long-term conditions like asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease. Treatments & Procedures: Perform ear irrigation, ECGs, blood pressure checks. Health Promotion: Provide lifestyle advice on smoking cessation, weight management, diet, and general primary prevention Your main duties will focus on delivering: Immunisations & Vaccinations: Administer childhood immunisations, travel vaccinations, and seasonal flu or booster shots. Womens & Sexual Health: Carry out cervical cytology (smear tests), contraception advice, and sexual health screening. Administrative & Governance: Maintain accurate patient records, contribute to Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) targets, and follow clinical policies.
