Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or 3) - Forest Row

Job Offer

Location: Forest Row, East Sussex

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Pay: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Permanent

Responsibilities

In this role, you will play a key part in the day-to-day care and development of our young learners, helping them explore, play, and grow safely. Your primary duties include:

Act as a Key Person, building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families.

Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate activities that align with the EYFS framework.

Observe, assess, and track children's progress to support their individual developmental milestones.

Ensure high standards of safety, hygiene, and safeguarding at all times.

Work collaboratively with team members to foster a warm, inclusive, and stimulating setting.

Qualifications

Qualification: Full and relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).

Experience: Previous experience working within an Early Years setting.

Knowledge: Sound understanding of the EYFS framework, child development, and safeguarding procedures.

Attributes: Excellent communication skills, a warm personality, and a genuine passion for early education.

Requirements: An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) and satisfactory references.
