Summary

Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-focused Temp to Perm Ledger Clerk to join their finance team. This is a transaction-heavy, hands-on role that suits someone who enjoys structured processes, accuracy, and working with numbers on a daily basis. Key Responsibilities of Ledger Clerk:

- Manage high volumes of financial transactions accurately and efficiently.

- Maintain petty cash, ensuring correct recording, reconciliation, and controls.

- Support with bank reconciliations and related monthly checks.

- Process ledger entries and maintain up-to-date financial records.

- Assist with general finance and administrative duties as required.

- Contribute to process improvements as the department moves towards more automation.

Essential:

- Experience in a similar transactional finance or ledger-based role.

- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with repetitive, high-volume tasks.

- Willingness to adapt as the team introduces system and process improvements.

- Good communication skills and a proactive approach.
