Summary
Gloucester has no WoofWalk walker yet. We want three, one each for the city centre and docks, the Quedgeley and Tuffley side, and Hucclecote and Barnwood.
WoofWalk is a UK app where an owner can find, book and pay a local walker. You are self-employed through it. You set what you charge and when you are free, and you choose every booking; owners pay through the app and the money is paid out to you. We are not an employer and there is no wage; bookings are not guaranteed.
No Gloucester price research yet. Nationally, public listings put an hour's walk at about £15 and a home visit at £10 to £20. You decide your own prices.
Gloucester Park, Robinswood Hill Country Park and Alney Island are the everyday grounds, with the Forest of Dean and the Cotswold edge close for longer walks.
There is no joining fee. The first 14 days are commission-free; then it is 15% of each booking, and 10% for life after five clients have joined through you. Tax, National Insurance and insurance are your own concern.
Suits someone over 18 with free weekday daytime hours, which is when owners at work need a walker.
