Blow Mould Technician

Location: Leominster

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 + Overtime Available

Hours: Monday to Friday, Days

An established and growing manufacturing business is seeking an experienced

Blow Mould Technician to join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to play a key role in maintaining, optimising and improving high-speed production equipment within a modern manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, maintain and troubleshoot blow moulding machinery and associated production equipment.

Carry out fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance to maximise machine uptime and performance.

Optimise processing parameters to ensure product quality, efficiency and material performance.

Support continuous improvement initiatives, equipment overhauls and changeovers.

Train and support colleagues in best practices relating to processing, maintenance and fault diagnosis.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience within a blow moulding, plastics manufacturing or similar production environment.

Strong mechanical fault-finding skills, with electrical knowledge highly desirable.

Experience of machine set-up, process optimisation and tooling changeovers.

Ability to diagnose equipment issues and maintain production performance under pressure.

Positive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and support the development of others.
