Are you an experienced
Setting Out Engineer looking to work on challenging infrastructure and construction projects?
We are actively seeking Setting Out Engineers with a strong background in
earthworks, piling, and quality assurance (QA) to join a growing pipeline of major civils schemes across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out for earthworks, piling, foundations, drainage, roads and associated civils works.
- Conducting surveys and ensuring works are carried out to design specifications.
- Producing and maintaining accurate site records and as-built information.
- Managing QA documentation, inspection test plans (ITPs), check sheets and quality records.
- Working closely with Site Managers, Project Managers and subcontractors.
- Identifying and resolving technical issues on site.
- Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
Requirements
✅ Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on civil engineering projects.
✅ Strong earthworks and piling experience.
✅ Experience completing QA documentation and quality inspections.
✅ Proficient with Leica, Trimble or Topcon surveying equipment.
✅ Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications.
✅ CSCS Card (essential).
