Working across digital and traditional channels, you'll help ensure a consistent and impactful presence both online and offline that reflects the Chatsworth brand positioning.

About Chatsworth

Located within the Peak District National Park, Chatsworth comprises a Grade I listed house and stables, a 105-acre garden, a 1,822-acre park, a farmyard and adventure playground, and one of Europe's most significant private art collections.

Chatsworth welcomes over 600,000 visitors each year and hosts a varied programme of events and experiences, from major annual events to talks, tours and workshops. Chatsworth House Trust is a registered charity established to care for the house, collections, garden, woodlands and park for the benefit of everyone.

The Role

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering marketing communications that support revenue-generating activities and brand awareness across Chatsworth.

The successful candidate will be closely involved with digital and traditional channels, managing campaigns, developing content, overseeing key marketing platforms and using audience insight and performance data to maximise impact. The role will also work collaboratively with teams across events, hospitality, collections, retail, catering, learning and visitor experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Managing and developing core platforms, including websites and CRM systems.

- Creating, managing and adapting communications plans to support revenue-generating activities and brand awareness.

- Creating engaging and original content for websites and email marketing.

- Developing strategies to increase audience reach and engagement.

- Managing and optimising campaigns across web, paid search, email, PR and print.

- Managing external agencies and freelancers where required.

- Monitoring emerging technologies, trends and audience behaviours to identify opportunities.

- Evaluating performance and reporting on reach, engagement, impact and ROI.

- Supporting and overseeing marketing executives within the team.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has:

- Strong skills in content creation, copywriting, website CMS management and optimisation, SEO, GEO, PPC, CRM and email marketing.

- Experience using one or more of the following: Umbraco, WordPress, Dot Digital (or similar CRM/automated marketing platform), Canva, GA4 and Adobe Creative Cloud.

- Experience managing and motivating direct reports or teams, effectively delegating and giving autonomy.

- Strong project management and prioritisation skills.

- Experience working with consumer data and audience segmentation.

- Excellent writing, editing and communication skills.

- Strong analytical skills and experience tracking and reporting on performance.

- An understanding of emerging and established AI tools and their relevance to marketing.

- Awareness of consumer and market trends within heritage, culture, hospitality, accommodation, travel or tourism.

In return

We can offer you the opportunity to work in the beautiful surroundings of the Chatsworth Estate in Derbyshire, an employee assistance programme, and a colleague pass providing discount in our retail and catering establishments, hotels and free entry into annual events such as the Chatsworth Country Fair.
