Are you a dynamic and motivated individual with a passion for driving production team performance? My client are seeking a dedicated Production Shift Manager to join their fast-paced and innovative production team. A family ran business, this company is in a very secure position with recently opened new site bolstering the businesses outlook. As a Production Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of manufacturing processes while leading and developing a team of skilled operators.

Role & Responsibilities:

Leading and supporting production staff throughout the shift.

Coordinating daily production activities and ensuring schedules are achieved.

Liaising with Planning and Management to meet production requirements.

Monitoring product quality and responding promptly to production or quality issues.

Training, developing and supporting production team members.

Ensuring company procedures, PPE, health & safety and hygiene standards are followed.

Managing labour effectively to ensure production runs efficiently.

Supporting continuous improvement and ensuring 5S principles are maintained.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Leadership experience within a manufacturing setting.

Has strong leadership and communication skills.

Has a strong understanding of quality, health & safety and production standards. - manual handling etc

Can motivate and develop a production team.
