You are invited to submit an application for the role of Academic Lead for SSC1 within the MBBS Programme at City St George’s, University of London.

SSC1 is a core component of the MBBS curriculum, supporting students to develop academic writing, literature searching, critical appraisal, evidence synthesis and self-directed learning skills. These components provide students with structured opportunities to explore areas of biomedical science, social science, humanities, clinical practice and professional interest beyond the core curriculum.

You will provide academic and operational leadership for SSC1 including student briefings, tutor recruitment and support, proposal review, student allocation, assessment guidance, marking and moderation processes, reporting, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
