We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and customer-focused Front of House Team Member to join our small, friendly team. We pride ourselves on creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere where customers can enjoy freshly prepared food, delicious cakes, speciality teas and excellent coffee.

The role
As a key member of our Front of House team, you will help ensure that every customer receives a warm welcome and excellent service, while keeping the tea rooms running smoothly throughout the day.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming customers and providing friendly, attentive service.
- Taking customer orders and processing payments accurately.
- Preparing and serving tea, coffee and other beverages, including barista-style coffee where required.
- Serving food and drinks to customers and ensuring orders are presented to a high standard.
- Clearing and resetting tables and maintaining clean, tidy customer areas.
- Keeping counters, displays and service areas clean, organised and well presented.
- Restocking fridges, displays, crockery, cutlery and other service items.
- Supporting the team with opening and closing duties.
- Assisting with the preparation and presentation of cakes, light refreshments and other food items, where required and appropriately trained.
- Communicating effectively with the kitchen and barista team to ensure efficient service.
- Following food hygiene, allergen, health and safety and cleaning procedures.
- Helping with general tasks across the tea rooms during busy periods, including restocking supplies and supporting colleagues wherever needed.
