Are you a passionate Chemistry Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity within a supportive and ambitious secondary school? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join a highly successful Science department on a full-time maternity cover contract.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

Teach Chemistry across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience.

Deliver engaging, practical, and stimulating lessons that inspire a love of science.

Support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes.

Monitor progress effectively and implement targeted interventions where needed.

Contribute positively to the wider Science department and school community.

Promote high expectations of behaviour, attendance, and achievement.

The Ideal CandidateYou will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards gaining QTS.

Have strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Chemistry.

Be capable of creating engaging and inclusive learning environments.

Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills.

Have a commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes for all learners.

Work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
