Summary
The Opportunity
A well-established engineering and construction business is looking to recruit an Interim Assistant Management Accountant to support the finance team during a busy period of project delivery. Working closely with the Financial Controller, the successful individual will be involved in a broad range of management accounting and project finance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting project costing activities
- Variance analysis and reporting
- Assisting with budgets and forecasts
- Producing financial reports for management
- Supporting year-end audit preparation
About You
- Previous Assistant Management Accountant experience
- AAT qualified, studying ACCA/CIMA, or qualified by experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent analytical approach
- Ability to work independently
