Summary

Help Create a Positive and Secure College Environment

- A safe, welcoming, and well-managed environment is fundamental to the student experience. As a Security Officer at Stanmore College, you will play an important role in helping to create a campus where students, staff, and visitors feel secure, supported, and respected.

The Role

You will join the Estates team and play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming College environment for students, staff, and visitors.

You will:

- Support the day-to-day security and smooth operation of the College campus.

- Monitor activity across the site and promote positive standards of behaviour.

- Control access to College buildings and grounds and help maintain a safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.

- Carry out regular patrols and support the security of College facilities and premises.

- Respond appropriately to incidents, concerns, and requests for assistance.

- Build positive relationships with students and act as a visible and approachable presence on campus.

- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective day-to-day operation of the College.
