Summary

We are working closely with Southern Housing to assist with the appointment of an Estate Services Cleaner, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £14.50 - £18.94 per hour

Summary:

The Estate Services Cleaner (Mobile) will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of internal and external communal areas across housing estates, ensuring residents have safe, clean and welcoming environments. The role involves delivering a consistently high-quality cleaning service, reporting repairs and health and safety concerns, and providing professional support to residents.

Responsibilities:

Carry out general cleaning duties in communal areas, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing and litter picking.

Sweep, disinfect and maintain refuse chutes, bins and bin storage areas, where applicable.

Use cleaning machinery, including jet washers and steam cleaners, to undertake deep cleaning when required. Training will be provided.

Report repairs, defects and health and safety issues in communal areas to the maintenance department or line manager, following up as necessary.

Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence.

Act as a point of contact for residents, assisting with enquiries or referring them to the appropriate colleagues.

Essentials:

Full valid UK driving licence required for the role.

Ability to drive company vehicles as required.

Ability to undertake physically demanding cleaning duties.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A positive, proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to use initiative.

This role requires a Standard DBS
