Summary

General Assistant - Marston Green

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a General Assistant to work with a leading catering and logistics company in Marston Green. As a General Assistant, you are the engine behind the flight. In this fast-paced role, you will off-load airline trolleys, sort high-value catering, and pack meals to exact specifications. You will prepare inflight retail supplies, assist with stock counts, and manage bonded goods while maintaining strict food hygiene in chilled environments.

Shift Patterns:

* 4 ON 2 OFF 0700 - 1530 / 0930 - 1800

Pay Rates:

* 13.01 GBP hourly

Essential Requirements for General Assistant:

* Must have lived in the UK for at least 5 years

* No unspent convictions

* Ability to work in a cold environment (Fridge/freezer)

* Willingness to undergo mandatory 5-year background and DBS checks

* Ability to pass the AVSEC course (training is provided)

Role for General Assistant:

* Off-load airline trolleys and manage high-value catering items

* Pack meals including various meats to exact specifications

* Prepare inflight retail supplies and assist with stock counts

* Manage bonded goods while maintaining strict food hygiene standards

* Work efficiently within a chilled environment

Location: Marston Green. The role is based in a secure facility near the airport.
