Pay Rate: £117. per day PAYE
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
Contract: 3 months
Location: Glenfield, Leicestershire, LE3 8RA
Working Pattern: Full time in the office
Our client is looking for an experienced Parking Enforcement Team Supervisor to join a local authority team in Glenfield on an initial 3-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor or team leader to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a busy team responsible for Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs), residents’ parking permits and camera enforcement.
Key requirements:
Must have previous experience of managing or supervising staff, including performance management.
Experience working collaboratively with internal teams, external organisations and stakeholders.
Experience managing work programmes and budgets.
Confident dealing with irate, distressed or challenging customers, using diplomacy and professionalism.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce clear reports and provide advice to stakeholders.
Key responsibilities to include:
Manage and supervise a team responsible for processing Penalty Charge Notices, residents’ parking permits and camera enforcement.
Ensure the team works efficiently and meets all relevant legislative, operational and local deadlines.
Oversee the progression of penalty notices through the debt recovery process, up to referral to Enforcement Agents.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, external partners, statutory and voluntary organisations and community stakeholders.
Provide professional advice and guidance to customers, partners and stakeholders.
Prepare reports and information for senior managers and elected Members where required.
Handle complex or challenging customer situations with understanding, confidence and professionalism.
