Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Used Car Sales Manager on behalf of our client, a reputable franchise-approved dealership located in Treforest. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and skilled Car Sales Manager to lead a dedicated sales team and drive exceptional results within a busy car dealership environment.

- Basic salary of approximately £33,000 per annum, with uncapped annual earnings exceeding £66,000 based on sales performance

- 22 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, with compensatory days off for any bank holidays worked

- Opportunity to work within a well-established dealership with a strong brand reputation

- 5.5 day working week, Monday to Saturday with a day off in the week. No Sundays and 1/2 Saturdays off a month

The primary duties of the Used Car Sales Manager include:

- Leading and motivating a team of Sales Executives to achieve and surpass sales targets

- Formulating sales policies in collaboration with senior management to maximise profitability from vehicle sales, finance, insurance, and accessories

- Ensuring customer satisfaction and retention to drive repeat business and build dealership loyalty

- Managing vehicle purchasing, stock control, and forecourt presentation to optimise sales

- Contributing to process efficiency and cost management across dealership operations

- Representing the dealership’s brand and providing exemplary customer service through leading by example

The role requires the following experience and skills:

- Proven sales management experience within a franchise-approved car dealership, ideally in a medium to large-sized dealership

- Strong background in finance and insurance (F&I) management

- Successful track record of exceeding sales targets and leading a team to success

- Stable employment history and recent or current experience in a sales management position

- A valid UK driving licence with minimal points is essential

- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire your team and deliver exceptional customer experiences
