Summary

The candidate must be experienced with Diabetes management including initiation of GLP1 and Insulin. Respiratory knowledge and management of patients with asthma and COPD is desirable. ARTP certificate of competence is also desirable. A qualification as a nurse prescriber would be an advantage. Competent to maintain responsibility for patients with long-term conditions delivering evidence-based practice in conjunction with QOF targets. Self-directed and ability to work autonomously whilst liaising with other members of the practice and multi-disciplinary team.
