About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and adaptable Wraparound Support/Cover Assistant to join our growing team and help deliver high-quality wraparound childcare across multiple school settings.
Based primarily at Bitham Brook Primary School in Westbury, you will support the delivery of our after-school club while also providing cover at other wraparound care settings across Wiltshire, Bristol and Hampshire when required. This varied role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and is confident stepping into different environments and becoming part of an established team.
Working closely with Club Leads and colleagues, you will help create safe, engaging and inclusive spaces where children can relax, play and develop before and after the school day. You will support activities, encourage positive behaviour, build strong relationships with children and families, and help ensure each session runs smoothly.
As our wraparound childcare provision continues to expand, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation and make a positive difference to children's experiences across a range of school communities.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the Club Lead with the set-up, delivery and pack-down of sessions
• Help create a warm, inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for all children
• Engage children in a variety of fun, age-appropriate activities (e.g. games, crafts, creative play)
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, school staff and colleagues
• Ensure the safety, wellbeing and enjoyment of all children in the club
• Travel to and support different wraparound care settings when cover is required
• Follow safeguarding, health & safety and behaviour policies at all times
