ROLE: Cleaning OperativeHOURS: 35 hours per weekLOCATION: Oxford, Oxfordshire

We're looking for a Cleaning Operative who will help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for residents, staff, and visitors at Campsfield Immigration Removal Centre.
Role Responsibilities:
-Deliver high standards of cleaning across designated areas in line with cleaning schedules and site requirements.
-Clean toilets, showers, fixtures, fittings, and communal areas to maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards.
-Safely use, handle, transport, and store cleaning equipment and materials in accordance with COSHH regulations and Mitie procedures.
-Inspect cleaning equipment, ensuring it remains serviceable and ready for use at all times.
-Identify and report maintenance issues, stock shortages, and, where required, undertake the safe cleaning of body fluids in accordance with approved procedures.
Required Qualifications:
-Previous cleaning experience is desirable.
-Ability to work effectively within a secure detention environment around residents.
-Good understanding of health and safety practices, including COSHH requirements.
-Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
-Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
