Munnelly Support Services is looking for a Business Development Executive to join the team at our head office in Kings Langley.

This is an opportunity to join a growing business and play an important role in shaping our future pipeline of work across the UK construction and infrastructure sectors.

Your role will be about more than simply generating leads. You’ll be researching markets, clients, competitors, frameworks and upcoming projects, identifying where opportunities are emerging and helping turn that insight into real commercial opportunities.

Working closely with our Business Development and Preconstruction teams, you’ll help identify, qualify and develop opportunities from an early stage, while gaining exposure to client engagement, bid strategy, industry events and major construction and infrastructure projects.

So what will you be doing?

- Researching markets, clients, sectors and upcoming construction and infrastructure projects to identify new opportunities.

- Building and developing a strong pipeline of potential business.

- Qualifying early-stage leads and helping progress them into genuine opportunities.

- Monitoring client pipelines, frameworks and forward project programmes.

- Tracking competitor activity and market developments to identify opportunities and inform our approach.

- Providing market and client intelligence to support business development and bid strategy.

- Working closely with our Business Development and Preconstruction teams to develop opportunities and ensure effective handover.

- Supporting client engagement, including meetings, briefings, targeted outreach and regular client visits.

- Identifying relevant industry events and networking opportunities and supporting attendance.

- Maintaining accurate CRM records and ensuring our market and client intelligence remains current.

- Producing regular insight and reporting on markets, opportunities and pipeline activity.
