Summary
CNC Operator Required
We are currently recruiting for an experienced
CNC Operator to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern machining environment with long-term career prospects, stable hours, and ongoing training.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC lathes to manufacture high-quality precision components while maintaining quality standards and production targets.
Salary - £16.50 - £19.00 per hour
Hours - MON TO FRI Alternating shifts weekly
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating CNC multi-tasking lathes.
- Producing components from engineering drawings.
- Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections.
- Using measuring equipment to ensure quality standards are met.
- Completing production and quality documentation.
- Deburring, cleaning and inspecting finished components.
- Reporting any machine or quality issues.
- Performing routine machine maintenance checks.
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
What We're Looking For
- Previous CNC machining or CNC operating experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and commitment to quality.
